Recently, the Food Network-TV ranked the Indio International Tamale Festival in the top 10 "All-American Food Festivals" in the nation!

We've brought you news about the
polygamist towns of the Southwest, expressed concern about impact on the children of the raids in Texas. So now we can't help but follow the story of the enterprising FLDS women, many of whom have not returned to the FLDS compounds, who have decided to fill a need and turn "lemons into lemonade." Launched initially to provide Texas authorities with clothing for FLDS children in custody, the online store now is aimed at helping their mothers earn a living. Currently 10 to 20 women are making the clothing but more may join the effort as the need is demonstrated. Their website is:
